Anyone dealing with livestock on a regular basis will understand the need for a straightforward, cost-effective way of moving cattle, sheep and other beasts in small groups. The Basic Trailers range of stock crate trailers, manufactured in our Adelaide workshop, provides the ideal solution.
We design and manufacture tandem axle stock crate trailers in a range of sizes — 8×5, 10×5, 10×6, 12×5 and 12×6. All of our stock crate trailers are built to our usual high standards in 100% Australian steel and feature 7 leaf eye slipper springs suspension, 2.1 mm checker plate with rolled 350 mm high sides, along with solid 45 mm square premium 1045 grade steel axles.
In addition, we offer a 12-month warranty and the option to tow now, pay later with TrailerPay.
Stock crate trailer upgrades
Like all of the trailers in our range, our stock crate trailers can be customised with the addition of a range of upgrades to met your specific needs.
Stock crate dividers
We can fit your 8×5, 10×5, 10×6, 12×5 and 12×6 stock crate trailers with dividers that help to keep livestock apart when being transported.
Overhead bracing
Stock crate trailers can be fitted with 400mm overhead bracing. This upgrade creates sides that are 1500 mm high and suitable for cattle, as opposed to the standard stock crate trailer with 1100 mm sides that is suitable for sheep. Overhead bracing can be fitted to our 8×5, 10×5, 10×6, 12×5 and 12×6 stock crate trailers.
Removable H frames
Suitable for fitting on all of our stock crate trailers, removable H frames can be used for carrying longer lengths.
Tube inserts
Tube inserts are 50×50 SHS welded vertically to all 4 outer corners of the trailer. These can be used with H frames and cages on all of our stock crate trailers.
Gate with ramp
Our 8×5, 10×5, 10×6, 12×5 and 12×6 stock crate trailers can be fitted with a rear gate with a ramp to make the process of loading and unloading livestock easier.
Full width ramp
We can add a 4’, 5’ or 6’ medium or heavy duty ramp with a helper spring that is suitable for fitting on all our stock crate trailers.
ATM upgrades
All of the trailers in our range can be manufactured to a higher ATM (up to 4,500 kg) to suit your needs.
Other upgrades
There are other upgrades that can be added to our stock crate trailers, such as 40mm fold down checker plate, infilled from guard to chassis, or high sides.
